This wasn't enjoyable; I won’t be revisiting it, and I can’t suggest others do either. I was really looking forward to seeing Lindsey Morgan (Raven, “The 100”) in something, especially since it seemed like an interesting alien dystopian story. However, my hopes were quickly dashed. It seems we missed a supposedly "better" film to get to this one, and even that other movie was considered strange. The concept of extracting human brains to serve as biological computers for alien androids is just bizarre. It's not terrible, but it’s mainly peculiar. The actual film turned out to be more like an alien fantasy than a standard science fiction story involving psychic abilities or superpowers; the aliens are unnecessary and awkward, only requiring subtitles. It does borrow elements from "The Matrix," but in a much stranger way.
