I definitely paid attention to the trailer—it was among those I watched most often. The songs and characters really drew me in, and honestly, I thought the promotional material looked even better than the movie itself. While I did enjoy it, I found the characters had more substance than what the trailers suggested. It tells a straightforward story, which ultimately proved to be very effective. It's not quite like Disney or Pixar, but it’s still really good. What's nice is that other studios are also stepping up their game. The film received a Golden Globe nomination, though it didn’t win an Oscar. It’s something for viewers of all ages to appreciate. Musical elements are common in animated movies, particularly from Disney, but this one felt different—the music genre was unique. And the characters really helped make the movie successful. It would have been easy to imagine it fitting into the 'Zootopia' world, but since those films came from separate companies, that didn’t happen. The voice cast was exceptionally well-chosen, especially when it came to the singing performances. Dwayne Johnson recently sang for 'Moana,' and while I understand the live actors were brought in primarily for promotion, they all did a great job. I liked a few of the songs, but most weren't original compositions. Even Shakira’s theme song from 'Zootopia' made an appearance. So, I would absolutely recommend this film to anyone, anytime, regardless of their mood—it’s guaranteed to lift your spirits and is definitely worth watching. Hopefully, they’ll make a sequel soon! They announced one that’s supposed to be released in 2020, which seems like an eternity; I'm eager for it even sooner. In the meantime, if you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out. _8/10_
