It's genuinely difficult to come across a film that feels deeply personal without resorting to melodrama or diminishing the realities of human experience. This movie resonated with me because I recognized aspects of myself in the characters, particularly during a period when I was searching for stories about people navigating similar turmoil and discovering ways to cope with their individual challenges. Pat deals with things by establishing routines and structure, while Tiffany finds solace in movement and dance—each method reflecting their personalities. It’s a meaningful depiction that demonstrates healing isn't uniform; sometimes, simple techniques like deep breathing or meditation aren't enough. The honest and skillfully presented explorations of bipolar episodes, psychosis, grief, the challenges of relationships and family life, medication management, diagnoses, and countless other issues were incredibly validating, suggesting that seeking proper treatment doesn’t have to be a solitary journey. The film’s deliberate lack of easy answers mirrors the uncertainty and gradual nature of real-life healing. This film serves as a reminder that even when your struggles feel intensely personal and painful, you're not truly alone—there is someone, often closer than you realize, who can understand you when others don't. Pat experiences isolation in his pursuit of wellness, especially when he feels unheard, and Tiffany offers him the connection he desperately needed. Things may unfold at their own pace, as they frequently do, but maintaining hope for a brighter future—likely not involving an elaborate dance competition—is worthwhile; you will eventually reach it. The film illustrates that recovery is imperfect but achievable. Pat’s journey toward wellness isn't neatly resolved—it shows progress, not complete healing. His symptoms haven't disappeared entirely, but he’s no longer feeling trapped. He has found stability, connection, and a sense of purpose—and that’s the essence of it all. YOU NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!
