It was an enjoyable film, though not one I’ll likely revisit, but I can still suggest it to others. This movie really resonated with me, even if I don't feel particularly connected to it. I'm not usually drawn to either Bradley Cooper or Jennifer Lawrence, despite acknowledging their talent; they both deliver a remarkable performance here, notably in the way they portray a wide array of feelings and navigate diverse conversations. The story centers on two individuals struggling with emotional distress who are attempting to recover and re-integrate into society while dealing with behavioral issues. While this psychological aspect is interesting, I found it more depressing than entertaining, which does make it impactful and deserving of recognition, but it’s not something I'll want to watch again anytime soon. The script is very well done: thoughtfully organized and containing substantial material, although it presents a peculiar idea—that it’s acceptable to deceive people for their own good so they can improve, even if they don’t want to, and that’s what love means. There's also considerable attention given to social customs, football, and dancing—things I generally don’t enjoy watching. Even though the film didn't entirely appeal to my tastes, I think many people will appreciate it and find it worthwhile.
