The film has a few visually appealing moments; the scene involving the gun range and peephole was enjoyable, as were some of the car chases and occasional well-executed action sequences. However, the final section significantly diminished my enjoyment. The color seemed overly saturated in places, and the substandard CGI also proved distracting. While the concept of characters not speaking initially seemed interesting, it ultimately felt perplexing. If Leonardo DiCaprio could receive an Academy Award for limited vocal performance, I fail to understand why Joel Kinnaman wouldn’t be considered as well.
