My initial viewing left me favorably impressed by how well they tried to maintain a consistently frightening atmosphere and keep viewers guessing about what might happen next. The creature designs are exceptionally unsettling, and some of the visuals have the potential to linger in your mind. I found the experience particularly engaging when playing it in complete darkness, with the sound coming through my stereo system so that you could practically feel the footsteps resonating. I’m certainly eager for a hundred or more viewings.
