The storyline feels familiar, though it does have some unexpected elements. While the plot itself isn’t exceptional, the writing is genuinely strong. Del Toro delivers a solid performance, and as always, seeing Emily Blunt in a film is a real treat; her acting is wonderful. The direction is also very well-handled, and the musical score stands out, contributing significantly to the overall mood.
