However, the subsequent development proved disappointing, falling into predictable patterns that diminished my engagement. Despite this, with its talented performers, it had the potential to be worthwhile. The setting also worked well and enhanced the narrative’s atmosphere, though its impact faded as the story progressed, particularly when the thriller elements became dominant. The film centers on a psychologist who is grieving the recent death of her husband and now finds herself responsible for her step-son after he suffers physical and mental setbacks. When their lives settle into a predictable rhythm, an unsettling incident occurs: one of her young patients disappears. This triggers a series of events that lead her to experience things others dismiss as unbelievable. The story then unfolds with a surprising revelation, bringing the narrative to its resolution. True to its advertised genre, it delivers what it promises, but lacks originality in its approach. Many viewers will likely anticipate most, if not all, of the plot developments. The strength lies in the performances, which are commendable across the board, including the child actor from 'Room' and Naomi. Although widely criticized and receiving low ratings—including my own—I found it somewhat diverting; I watched it to completion rather than abandoning it midway.
