It wasn’t really to my taste, but it was still excellent. It's safe to say this proved to be an unusual movie, and I appreciated the departure from Hollywood productions. However, I don’t feel compelled to watch it again anytime soon. There were a couple of moments that felt somewhat foreseeable, and perhaps other minor issues as well. Nevertheless, there were many elements that I genuinely enjoyed and didn't anticipate. What impressed me most was how they managed to make so much impact with just one setting and a limited number of performers. The fact that they accomplished so much using such minimal resources gives it the feel of a folk or indie film. The concept of an entire narrative centered around a single location seemed like it could be dull, uninspired, and simply unremarkable. Fortunately, that wasn't what happened. There’s considerable danger for the vulnerable children involved, and I was particularly surprised by Jessica’s confrontation with Sammy (no details given), which really maintained a high level of anxiety and suspense. Ultimately, The Daily Wire did an impressive job delivering a Hollywood-caliber thriller that prioritizes telling a compelling and original story over promoting any particular agenda. It earns a rating of 7.5/10.
