I wasn’t really in the mood to see it. Seriously, a fourth Shrek film? It felt like too much. But it was warm out and there weren't any other options, so I figured, alright, let's watch Shrek. The plot picks up where the previous three films left off, but it’s pretty wild—they went back in time to create a story that could become another movie. Every trailer made me think, "You really need to stop making Shrek movies." However, after watching it, I have to admit, I was amused. It still had some laughs, though the earlier three were noticeably funnier. I’d give this movie a B+.
