"She Said" demonstrates that a movie following familiar patterns and running longer than necessary can still manage to be deeply affecting and captivating. The real events surrounding Harvey Weinstein's allegations of sexual abuse are handled with sincerity, commitment, and deference toward those who were harmed. The film’s quality is significantly enhanced by outstanding performances from the actors, particularly Zoe Kazan. Even without trying anything radically new, Maria Schrader maintains viewer engagement through Nicholas Britell’s music. It really should be viewed by a wide audience. Rating: B-
