It’s unbelievable how remarkable Ana Sophia Heger is! I'm wondering where she appeared from; I honestly can't recall ever witnessing a performance this powerful from a young actress. I am completely stunned, and hoping she avoids any pitfalls so we can appreciate her gift for years to come. Combined with Taron Egerton’s work, and the incredible connection between these two performers, it creates one astonishing scene after another that takes your breath away. At points, you almost believe they had to remove audible reactions from the film crew. There were definitely moments where I'm sure there was a brief pause after filming, just quiet reflection. I’m still dabbing my eyes. If the Academy Awards were fair (which they rarely are), she deserves Best Actress. The plot isn’t perfect, particularly as it wraps up, but you absolutely need to see this for the acting and the bond between the father and daughter. I'll be watching this again and again.
