The storyline feels dated, reminiscent of 1980s films, and while some performances were passable—Cameron Monghan and Lilly Krug weren’t terrible—John Malkovich and Frank Grillo both appeared in minor roles. It seemed like Malkovich was just there to collect a fee, similar to Mel Gibson's appearance in Dangerous, though he at least seemed to be enjoying himself with his lines. Despite this, the movie follows a predictable path and ultimately has a disappointing ending. It’s acceptable enough to watch once, and the intimate moments could appeal to certain viewers, but it’s not something I would revisit. **2.25/5**
