It's an enjoyable film I’d likely revisit, and I can suggest it to those who appreciate horror films featuring sharks. I suspect viewers without any interest in sharks might find it somewhat dull. The creatures are effectively utilized as a source of fear, creating a feel reminiscent of Rob Zombie’s work. One peculiar aspect is the explanation for how the sharks are surviving, or whether you should accept the movie's claim that it involves a "saltwater lake." While there exist lakes with unusual characteristics, distinguishing saltwater from freshwater is usually quite apparent. This is honestly the film's biggest drawback: everything else makes logical sense, so it strains your ability to suspend disbelief. The plot is well-organized, and the cast generally performs adequately. Still, it isn’t a top-tier movie. I don’t have an issue with natural forces serving as obstacles or adversaries—I enjoyed "Crawl," for instance—but that approach needs skillful execution. I didn't develop much of a connection to either the characters or the sharks. It seems like there should have been more opportunities to simply avoid the water, which is what makes shark encounters in the ocean so frightening; escape is considerably more difficult then. Ultimately, it’s a good film that has the potential to be great, though that might just be my analytical mind spoiling my enjoyment.
