It’s a really enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and suggest to others. Going in, I anticipated boredom—I assumed it would be predictable given its World War II courier premise. However, the movie turned out to be far more than that. The experience felt like watching several narratives skillfully woven together. It employs a modular storytelling approach, something I’ve observed becoming increasingly common since the early 2020s, but this film takes it to another level. The structure is nearly five acts long, with each act divided into three chapters. The writing is exceptionally well-done, creating a story that's both impactful and absorbing. It transcends being simply a World War II narrative; it’s not solely about a female character, nor just a straightforward hero versus villain plot or an exploration of captivity and isolation, or even a combat film—it incorporates all these elements, along with more, complemented by impressive cinematography throughout. I strongly recommend seeing this, regardless of any preconceived notions you might have heard. There's something to appreciate for every viewer, and everything is well-executed.
