I’m truthfully puzzled by my own enjoyment of this movie. It's undeniably foolish, incredibly so. The American accents delivered by the New Zealand actors are laughably inaccurate, and the action sequences are absurdly over-the-top. Yet, surprisingly, a distinctive visual flair and inventiveness occasionally elevate it beyond its low-budget, intentionally cheesy nature. I’d be extremely cautious about suggesting it to anyone. Despite all its flaws, I found myself having a good time reacting to the ridiculousness on screen and would gladly watch it again.
