It’s difficult to make a story like this work because there needs to be some believability in the initial idea; if not, it might as well have never been produced. And unfortunately, this film falls into that category. "Bishop" (played by Charlie Sheen) is an advisor to the president who suddenly becomes the focus of an assassin's attention. The reason for this remains unclear for most of the movie—though it’s not hard to figure out—and his only chance at survival involves hiding and, with assistance from his boss "Conrad" (Donald Sutherland) and Linda Hamilton, uncovering what’s going on. It’s a rather lifeless film overall. Sheen seems ill-suited for an action role; he strains to show how dangerous things are, but doesn't manage to succeed. The other actors, who are mostly familiar faces, don't contribute anything special either, leading up to an ending that feels quite absurd. It’s competently constructed, but not particularly memorable.
