It's an enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and suggest to others. Ultimately, I’d say it’s more captivating than simply “good.” I don't typically care for Matthew McConaughey or Jason Clarke, yet they both do a remarkable job portraying their characters’ instability. Djimon Hounsou seems to be the only one whose character isn’t touched by some form of madness. The connection to "Moby Dick" is apparent, and the way the narrative unfolds lets themes develop throughout. Each individual storyline feels like a fresh tale featuring familiar faces. Though the experience can get quite intense at times, the conclusion feels somewhat unclear and might prompt you to wonder about both the events in the film and reality itself.
