The initial portion of the film succeeds in developing its characters, whereas the second half feels disjointed. Many of the characters come across as stereotypical wealthy, arrogant, and condescending individuals lacking significant complexity. The resolution deviates from what I anticipated; by the movie's conclusion, with the exception of the character who is engaged, nearly every other person portrayed seems driven by malice and self-interest.
