The final portion manages to elevate the movie somewhat, because the initial hour feels quite ordinary. It depicts two young friends—Mateus Almada and Maurício Barcellos—traveling to the coast after Almada's grandfather passes away. There’s a noticeable connection between the boys as they test the limits of their bond; however, it develops at an unhurried pace that isn’t really needed. It is visually appealing, and the central actors deliver authentic, captivating performances toward the conclusion.
