The initial premise held promise, however, things declined noticeably following the incident with poisonous gas; what followed felt like a predictable and excessively brutal imitation of typical Hollywood action. It’s disappointing because it seemed to be progressing well up until that point. The concluding scenes set on a beach and at a restaurant did manage to recapture some of the earlier momentum, but ultimately came too late to make a difference.
