The film’s length feels excessive, yet it still provides a reasonably engaging glimpse into the experiences of two adolescent boys who seem to lack direction in their lives, and who find themselves able to elicit positive qualities and sincerity from one another. "Miku" (Mikko Kauppila) and his brother "Sebu" (Juho Keskitalo) host a gathering that results in considerable damage to their parents' home. While the father appears relatively easygoing, the mother is extremely upset, prompting them to spend the summer vacation at a secluded cabin. Initially feeling restless, "Miku" encounters "Elias" (Valtteri Lehtinen), an attractive young man who demonstrates certainty about what he desires from a friendship. The progression of events unfolds quickly, and there’s no ambiguity regarding the nature of what follows. The film does provide some insight into their personalities; for instance, the unpleasant mother is revealed to have certain underlying anxieties, and both the protagonist and his brother have family members who might raise questions. There's an overreliance on conversations, and the intimate scenes are filmed in a way that feels awkward and hinders the story’s flow. Nevertheless, the landscapes are lovely, occasional moments of humor provide some relief, and the two young actors do enough to maintain interest.
