My first impression was that this might be another installment in the “Scream and Scream” series, however, it turns out to be a rather disorganized film that doesn't utilize its experienced cast members effectively. The narrative centers on "Insp. Bellaver" (Alfred Marks) as he pursues an exsanguinator preying on women in London. An attempt at luring the perpetrator goes wrong, and the investigation leads the police to the residence of "Browning" (Vincent Price), where scientific experiments are conducted involving a large vat of acid. Simultaneously, a separate storyline unfolds in Eastern Europe, depicting the actions of “Konratz” (Marshall Jones) who is eliminating his rivals as he climbs the social ladder—this is where Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee ("Fremont") have brief roles within this wandering and ultimately underwhelming movie. There are a few enjoyable scenes; a good car chase can usually provide some entertainment, but the actors I was hoping to see appear sporadically, and when they do, they don’t add much substance to a plot that could easily be trimmed down into a forty-five minute episode of "Tales of the Unexpected." Unfortunately, there's not much worthwhile here.
