I watched Saving Private Ryan at school, and I believe it's a worthwhile film. Steven Spielberg’s direction is impressive; it created an immersive feeling as if you were actually present in the events unfolding onscreen. The visuals mirrored the tone of each scene—stillness during calm moments and frantic movement when things escalated. The characters felt authentic, conveying the experience of soldiers engaged in combat. Similarly, the costumes and set design appeared genuine, successfully recreating a wartime environment in France. While I enjoyed it, I felt the film’s length was excessive, so my rating is 9 out of 10.
