The film possesses undeniable beauty, though at times it feels somewhat lacking in substance. The narrative places minimal emphasis on establishing the environment, instead expecting viewers to piece things together or disregard it entirely while focusing on the individuals involved. While this approach can be effective in certain films, here it doesn’t quite succeed. It's not a poorly made movie by any means, but it also isn't likely to stick with you for long. The performers are excellent, and the directing is well-handled; however, there just isn't enough material to make it truly satisfying.
