It’s a decent, though not extensive, disaster film. Dwayne Johnson is, as expected, Dwayne Johnson, but he possesses enough charm to make the movie work, and it's certainly positive to see Carla Gugino and Alexandra Daddario involved. The visual effects were uneven; some moments looked impressive, while others didn’t quite succeed. Nevertheless, I find these kinds of movies enjoyable, and even if this one isn't on par with classics like The Poseidon Adventure or The Towering Inferno, it provides a pleasant viewing experience. **3.5/5**
