Films such as *Stargate* (1994) demonstrate what I appreciate—the inclusion of real-world elements like the Pyramids and their hieroglyphs, which offer some historical context while still leaving room for imaginative speculation about construction methods that remain a mystery even with modern technology. It’s this kind of inventive storytelling that I enjoy seeing when adapting ancient tales, rather than straightforward retellings of familiar versions. The result was truly disappointing.
