I was drawn to this film because I enjoy narratives centered on time travel. However, what unfolded wasn’t precisely a time travel story; although one of the characters claims to have engaged in it and intends to repeat the experience, there's considerable discussion about journeys into the past. That said, that isn't really its focus. It proves to be an enjoyable film for those who are willing to invest their attention and appreciate quirky humor. The writing is sharp, particularly the understated remarks made by Darius, the main character. There are a few predictable and somewhat familiar storylines involving the two men assisting her during the investigation of the supposed time traveler; you’ll want to pay close attention when she's on screen. Thankfully, this holds true for most of the film's runtime. I can't foresee myself revisiting it anytime soon, simply because I am not getting any younger and have a lengthy list of films still awaiting my viewing. Nevertheless, I don’t feel that the ninety minutes I dedicated to it were wasted. As a small additional detail, the movie concludes in a manner reminiscent of how many time travel movies commence, but I won't elaborate further than that.
