Ryan Reynolds portrays Matt, an unfulfilled CIA operative stationed in South Africa who longs for more engaging work while overseeing a secure location. His desire is fulfilled when he's tasked with protecting Frost, a high-priority individual identified as "most wanted," played by Denzel Washington. As expected, the safe house proves to be far from secure, and Matt and Frost find themselves pursued relentlessly while grappling with questions of who can be trusted in this straightforward action movie. Director Daniel Espinosa maintains a brisk pace and keeps things engaging, and Reynolds and Washington are believable as partners on the run. Brendan Gleeson and Sam Shepard also contribute to a plot that functions effectively. It's an enjoyable film.
