Sabotage comes close to being enjoyable, but ultimately fails to achieve that for me. The film isn’t without its problems. I didn’t find Arnold Schwarzenegger particularly engaging, although his portrayal does show a slight improvement as the movie progresses. Mireille Enos wasn't impressive, and neither were the other actors supporting Arnie—Sam Worthington and Olivia Williams are passable, but mostly disappointing. This film from 2014 seems like an overly transparent effort to copy the style of The Expendables, released either four years earlier or in the same year as *Expendables 3*, at least until the very end, which I thought took a different direction. However, that ending also felt hurried and underdeveloped. Another drawback is that none of the characters are likeable, even early on when the movie seems to be trying to make them appear so. These are several complaints, which would normally lead me to give it a lower score. Nevertheless, as I mentioned earlier, it’s almost something I could watch without needing to concentrate too much. I appreciate films that don't require intense focus, but this one doesn't quite reach that standard in my view.
