If you enjoyed Rush Hour, I suggest avoiding this film altogether. This movie feels essentially like Lethal Weapon 4, only transplanted to Hong Kong instead of Los Angeles, and the change simply doesn’t improve it. Almost everything that contributed to the humor in the original seems misplaced or has been disregarded here; it's really bad. The "fish out of water" element worked well in Rush Hour, but with Tucker in Hong Kong, he comes across as irritating rather than amusing. It's just awful.
