It’s made me question whether it’s wise to pay attention to ratings when considering films from India, because they don't seem to reflect the actual quality at all. The performances were truly awful—I’ve never witnessed anything quite like it, and that includes *Plan 9 from Outer Space*. The voices are dubbed afterward as well! On top of that, the plot is embarrassingly silly and over-the-top, leading you to suspect it might be some kind of elaborate prank. I honestly couldn't decide if it was meant to be funny. I briefly thought about sticking around just for the amusement value—I started laughing from the very beginning with that bizarre scene featuring a woman having lip surgery while sitting in a jungle during the 1920s, surrounded by kneeling indigenous people and an obviously fake studio recording of a little girl singing. The girl clearly didn't know the words she was supposedly performing, and her mouth movements were completely off. But then I realized that at a runtime of 3 hours and 5 minutes, even those “so bad it’s funny” laughs wouldn’t hold out. I can't express how terrible this is! I won't be watching any more Indian movies, thanks to this experience.
