It’s enjoyable, something I’ll probably revisit, and I suggest checking it out. When you’re looking for a film that takes you far back in time, Steve Martin is usually a safe bet, and a narrative based on Shakespeare's work often turns out well. A touch of *Cyrano* really elevates things. While the plot follows an expected path, it’s clearly focused on the unfolding events rather than the final outcome. Steve Martin provides a distinct kind of entertainment, and their approach to reimagining the material feels fresh, if not particularly inventive. I think this would be ripe for a remake, but the underlying story isn't new, and I’m unsure what modern advancements could bring to it.
