It’s remarkable how much heart this film possesses, despite its shortcomings in other areas. The casting choices were spot-on; even Sven-Ole gets a chance to playfully mimic Arnie, and he really should have had more opportunity to do so, if you ask me. Everyone involved delivers a committed performance given the rather silly story. The filmmakers apparently didn't learn from how action sequences were handled in similar movies made around the same time, opting instead for shaky camera work and obviously manual recoil effects. This significantly detracts from the overall impact. While the plot is enjoyable, the scenery is beautiful, and the acting superb, everything feels low-budget. That’s really the only significant problem. I would still suggest watching it.
