I’m really puzzled by the rating here because it seems like an error; it’s listed as R on multiple platforms. I looked at IMdB and Googleplay, and it’s R there too. To be truthful, I didn't tally up how many curse words were used, but it felt like one of those horror films that attempt to get a lower rating in order to attract more viewers, only to end up being disappointing. The filmmakers did manage to keep the creature mostly hidden, which allowed me to picture it myself, however, they also seemed to tone down the scary parts... and the story itself. Regarding the plot, I’d say that it didn't quite add up, but I was also distracted while working from home.
