It's a genuinely enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and suggest to others. The opening scene and the basic story are intensely disheartening, particularly given that it deals with an actual issue in the world. Although it does establish the movie adequately, the computer-generated imagery for the lion wasn't up to par; this is especially noticeable when held against Disney’s hyper-realistic animal animation, which falls into a strange and unsettling territory. I was pleasantly surprised by Megan Fox’s performance, demonstrating her versatility. Having not been fond of her earlier work, I find myself increasingly impressed with what she brings to her roles now. This serves as an excellent illustration of a well-made paramilitary film. It makes me think they should have omitted the lion entirely. A scenario involving overwhelming odds against a worthy goal, motivated by financial gain, is a very strong foundation for a movie. The actual production has impressive qualities (aside from the lion), and the actors deliver superb performances. The script is captivating, both in terms of character development and the immersive aspect of strategic survival. If you appreciate gunplay, rescuing damsels from castles, or simply Megan Fox, then I suggest checking this out.
