It’s peculiar, really, because I don’t seem to feel any negativity toward *‘RocketMan’*. That’s odd given that the movie isn’t good; there wasn't much I could say I even slightly enjoyed—and still, I didn’t find myself bothered by it. It's a strange reaction. I suppose what prevents me from being more upset is its relatively brief length and the sense that the performers were at least putting in effort, even if they ended up with something subpar. Harland Williams does as good a job as anyone could have done playing Fred, and it was pleasant to see Jeffrey DeMunn—a nod to Dale from *‘The Walking Dead’*. The biggest problem is how the story unfolds. It's embarrassing, foreseeable, and poorly written. The more dramatic conclusion involving space felt alright but didn't really go with the rest of the movie’s silliness. There weren’t many laughs, at least not for me. I did appreciate the nods to other films like *‘Wizard of Oz’* and *‘Pinocchio’*, but that was pretty much it. It's an inoffensive film; one I genuinely don’t even dislike, despite how flawed it is.
