It’s clear this isn't RoboCop, nor is it even its sequel; instead, what we have here is RoboCop 3, which represents a genuine disappointment for everyone connected to the project. The film falls into the same category of missteps as the third Mad Max installment, with its bizarre detour involving children in a desert setting and an inexplicable musical number featuring Tina Turner. A jet pack appears—a truly senseless addition. I’m giving it fourteen thumbs down.
