This film turned out to be something of a surprise. I went in anticipating utter boredom, and surprisingly, that didn’t happen—at least not entirely. It's alright. Perhaps just a bit dull at times. I avoided seeing this initially because, let’s face it, everyone knows the story of Robin Hood. However, as I watched, I realized it wasn’t the familiar tale. It presented a unique perspective on the legend. Still, I found myself thinking it could have been significantly improved if Gerard Butler had taken on the role of Robin. Russell Crowe did what he could, though; I'm just not particularly fond of his work. And Cate Blanchett was as imposing as ever—in a good way, of course. She’s probably the celebrity who makes me feel most intimidated; her characters are consistently excellent. The movie was pleasant enough, although it didn’t reach "amazing" status. There were moments where I just wanted to shut my eyes for a bit because they dragged on. It also felt longer than necessary, and while I was entertained, I wasn't completely captivated.
