Given how directly the film's name highlights Robert the Bruce, it would’ve been preferable if he hadn’t spent so much of the movie silent or unconscious, or simply absent from view. It also might have benefited from concentrating on a more engaging period in his life, or just being well-made. Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible.
