The film Ride or Die investigates topics related to LGBTQ+ identity and intense romantic feelings using a challenging, emotionally intricate storyline. While it has a strong starting point, the movie encounters problems with its inconsistent rhythm, a lack of connection between the characters, and a focus on physical interactions that overshadows their emotional development. Nevertheless, it presents a disturbing portrayal of the lengths people will go to in the name of love.
