As someone who appreciates Richard Pryor’s performances, I got several recordings, and this one among them. It recounts his story through the perspectives of people close to him—family and friends. The narrative covers everything from his early years to his initial concerts and films. "Omit the Logic" is a fitting title, given that his actions were beyond understanding; he tragically set himself ablaze. I suspect he was a complicated person, as many comedians are, and this attempts to portray the circumstances surrounding Richard’s life.
