The movie has some interesting concepts, however, Anderson introduces a new degree of visual confusion during the action sequences, which is frustrating instead of exciting. It feels like he might not have seen any recent action films. There are also numerous pointless jump scares that made me question if he was hoping to work with Blumhouse Productions. Despite this, Milla Jovovitch still possesses a strong presence that’s captivating, though she really warrants more substantial roles. I hope that because this is supposedly the last film, she can move on and discover them.
