While it’s perhaps a step up from *Apocalypse*, the story and action still feel fairly conventional, though not particularly good; however, certain fight scenes were decent, and there are glimmers of intriguing concepts. I continue to enjoy Jovovich's performance, even if she isn’t the most skilled actress—she does bring something to this kind of film. The brevity of the movie prevents a deeper understanding of Ali Larter’s character, and it seemed strange that Jill (Sienna Guillory) and Angie's (Sophie Vavasseur) disappearances went unacknowledged as far as I can recall. **2.5/5**
