"Renegades" unfolds with a series of expected developments, showcasing a story lacking in originality. While the movie provides ample scenes of large-scale damage that might appeal to those seeking uncomplicated thrills, there's not much substance to hold the attention of most viewers. The filmmakers seemed unsure how to fill out the film’s length; instead of crafting a more detailed narrative with memorable characters, we are presented with Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips repeatedly arguing and clashing until they eventually understand that working together is essential for any advancement. It's ultimately an uninspired movie, and it’s hard to imagine anyone retaining any recollection of it, let alone feeling motivated to watch it again.
