It’s a strangely empty sci-fi noir mystery that benefits from solid acting by Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson, and Thandiwe Newton, though the narrative itself didn’t grab me, and I had difficulty accepting the connection between Jackman's and Ferguson's characters. The film seemed to lose momentum fairly quickly, leaving me with little investment in unraveling the central mystery.
