I went into seeing this film primarily because of Robert Pattinson, and I suspect a lot of others did too. I thought he gave a really strong performance; his portrayal felt connected to his personality in some ways. Pierce Brosnan is as handsome as ever. While initially I wasn’t fond of his character, it ultimately proved worthwhile. The actress who played Robert's sister was also excellent—her character was just delightful and easy to appreciate. This isn't a deeply serious or intense drama; it strikes a good balance. Naturally, I didn't care for the romantic interest in the movie. It’s hard to be happy about someone kissing and being intimate with Robert, even if it's part of the story! The ending wasn't exactly cheerful, but despite that, it felt satisfying given what happened to all the characters. I’d give this a B grade. I would suggest it to people who are fans of Robert Pattinson—many have probably already seen it—as well as those who enjoy love stories, family narratives, and movies that aren't overly dramatic.
