I got through roughly half of Pipa before my attention drifted away. The movie progresses slowly, giving the impression that its focus is on portraying violence against women more than crafting an interesting narrative. Sadly, this has become increasingly frequent lately—when ideological messages overshadow genuinely captivating entertainment. Overall, I thought Pipa had good production quality and the performances were acceptable, but it felt simplistic and, consequently, quite dull.
