It was a pleasant experience. I used to watch the television show when I was younger and recall enjoying it, so it shouldn’t be surprising that I found 'Recess: School’s Out' agreeable. The story has a rather silly premise, but the characters and animation make it work well. The characters are all good, each having distinct personalities. While none of the voice actors particularly stood out, they all felt right for their roles and blended together nicely. I also appreciated the music. It’s an uncomplicated yet successful movie, something you'll probably like if you found the TV show amusing.
