It was a slow and boring experience. Those unfamiliar with the series likely won’t find it appealing. *Recess: All Growed Down* functions as an assembled movie, but at least it has a clearer central idea compared to *Recess Christmas: Miracle On Third Street*. The plot revolves around the younger students, which is somewhat engaging, though it's simplified—it seems intended exclusively for children, considerably more so than the previous two installments. The lack of Andrew Lawrence voicing T.J. stands out noticeably; his replacement’s vocal performance probably contributes to the feeling that it’s geared toward a very young audience. The remaining actors don’t make much of an impression. I understand why some people might enjoy this film, but I didn't get any enjoyment from it myself.
